The Bariatric Center of Excellence at Baptist Hospital conducts a “Meet the Doc” program to provide information on morbid obesity, non-surgical treatment options, bariatric services and weight-loss surgeries such as gastric bypass and lap-band. The Baptist Hospital Bariatric Center is the area's first and most comprehensive surgical weight loss program. The center offers the expertise of Dr. David Nye and Dr. Jeffrey Friedman who are backed by a full complement of medical specialists skilled in the care of bariatric patients.
